Bricco Wins 2010 Santé Culinary Hospitality Award

Bricco has done it again! Santé, the Magazine for Restaurant Professionals, announced the winners of the 2010 Santé Restaurant Awards in early October and Bricco made the list, earning a 2010 Santé Culinary Hospitality Award. This is the second consecutive year Bricco has earned this award.

Bricco won its award based on criteria including cooking philosophy, dish development, kitchen staff training, and customer service and satisfaction. Executive Chef Jason Viscount will attend the annual Santé Awards program in Napa Valley in November to accept the award. Learn more.

Starter Chefs Give Bricco a Good Taste

I’ve never been a lamb lover. I’ll tolerate strong-flavored mouthfuls of mutton, but chicken, veal, beef and fish sway my savory selections most of the time. That is until I climbed onto a tall comfortable bar seat at Bricco and ordered a slow-roasted Pennsylvania lamb leg ($12) featured on the lunch menu. Gearing up to tackle a big-boned and primeval looking piece of meat, I was pleasantly surprised and relieved to see the most mouth-watering braised-tender chunks of lamb on a tapered oval dish. The meat came with cremini ragout drizzled with a little brown stock reduction and set in a pool of Pecorino Romano polenta. Read More.

Celebrity Bartender Fundraiser For Jeff Lyons July 10, 2013 From 5:00 p.m. To 8:00 p.m.

Please join the fun as our “celebrity bartenders” help raise money for Jeff’s new prosthesis.
